Sasuke Tsume is a male side character appearing in Heavenly Dragon Kings Rebirth. He is a member of the Ascendants Organization who joined after being captured by Simon Beelzebub and forced to pick either his life or his freedom. He is also the son of the fallen angel Kokabiel and was a college student, who also traded stolen artifacts before becoming a member of the Organization. He is also called "Older Bro" by the other members of the Y-Faction due to his age. Due to his sacred gear Blazing Crusader, he shares the title of Dragon Crowned Prince of Lava with Kayda, his sacred gear spirit.
Appearance[]
Sasuke Tsume is a man of medium height with pale blonde hair, some of which is swept in a messy backwards fashion with a few strands coming over his face and red eyes. He typically wears casual clothes such as a black t-shirt, ripped jeans, boots, and a black leather jacket with a fur collar and rims. Being a hybrid fallen angel he possesses two black wings.
He also wears yellow goggles and headphones to protect his eyes and ears during battles. He also has pointy ears, which he inherited from his father as a child.
Personality[]
Sasuke is shown to be a lazy, aloof, laid back and rather odd individual. Despite knowing of his father Kokabiel he expresses little concern for the "bastard that abandoned his mother" and seems to not really be concerned with fighting powerful individuals or strength, contrasting heavily with Kal. He is also shown to be much more smarter and down-to-earth compared to others and would prefer to talk rather than fight. If he wasn't so lazy, Simon Beelzebub would've made him leader or second-in-command of the group. Despite growing up in a life of luxury with wealth, status, and the top education the world had to offer he chose to instead to use his power and knowledge of the supernatural to steal powerful artifacts and sell them to the highest bidder, stating that there was no greater thrill in the world than a successful heist and reward.
Despite not being in charge, the others will typically hear out his advice (despite never listening) and consider him the "big bro" of the group, with Ciara even calling him Aniki. He reveals that he never wanted to join the group and was only forced after trying to steal a artificial from Simon Beelzebub, the bastard giving him the artifact but saying he'll kill him if he didn't join. Sasuke has said he would bail due to the dysfunctional nature of the group (specifically Kal) but the second he attempts he expects Simon to appear at whatever safe spot he hides in and kill him. He also sees little concern in DxD, Ichiro, or the New Satan Faction and doesn't see Aphrodite's reasoning for caring so heavily about them. After learning of Kuoh Devils defeating his father he expresses little concerns and ponders whether he should even care or thank them.
He also appears to have a very distant relationship with his sacred gear spirit, as he rarely talks to her, due to her being asleep for most of the time. After meeting Issei, Vali, and Ichiro and learning they have regular talks with their dragons he is shocked, as he assumed most dragons were very lazy, however after learning of her depression and helping her through it, he gains a balance breaker as a result of connecting with her. He also flirts heavily with Akeno, to the anger of Sora and Rossweisse to the anger of Issei.
History[]
Sasuke was born the son of the fallen angel Kokabiel and a human woman. His mother however was quite wealthy due to her family coming from a massive fortune, he had the best out of life from a very young age. During his college years, he began to learn more about the supernatural and later would meet a Devil Girl after summoning her from a sigil due to his greed. She would then tell him how to draw out his power, eventually learning he possessed a sacred gear and was the son of Kokabiel (causing the Devil girl to run away in terror). He later would decide to use his talent to become a master thief, enjoying the thrill it would bring to his boring college life.
In the past he would fight against Xenovia, who cut him with her Excalibur Destruction due to him trying to steal a legendary object from the church. A informant would then tell him about Ascendants and how they are known for carrying legendary and powerful artifacts. He would then try to steal the experimental weapon the Artificial Black Star from Simon Beelzebub. Simon Beelzebub was shocked that someone managed to find his hiding base, that not even Aphrodite knew about, and decided that Sasuke would be the perfect one for his group. He gave Sasuke the Artificial Black Star and told him he could sell it if he wanted, or simply keep it, but he would have to join the Ascendants or forfeit his life.
A year before the start of the series, his sophomore year in College he would start preforming odd jobs or requests for the Ascendant Organization before becoming a member of Y-Faction and meeting the others.
Powers and Abilities[]
Master Stealth: Sasuke was known for his exceptional steal skills. He could enter a building and maneuver with ease without setting off any magic traps or alarms, even Annalise's black trace sacred gear has no effect on him due to him never "triggering" it, she even states it's hard to detect him whether this is his own special skill or due to being the son of Kokabiel is unknown. He can typically move across the battlefield undetected and shocks people who believe he "came out of nowhere".
Light Manipulation: Sasuke can manipulate light with incredible ease but rarely uses this ability, only using it once to save Ciara by creating a grappling hook of light, however he doesn't use it for combat purposes, whether it's due to his own disdain for his father or he doesn't see the use due to his own sacred gear is unknown.
Immense Durability: Sasuke says this is his only notable physical characteristic. He is noted to have naturally high durability, able to take even ultimate class attacks and "walk them off", using his wings or his dragon shield he can amplify his durability even further.
Flight: Being a hybrid fallen angel with two wings, Sasuke Tsume can fly, due to Simon's dragon scale modification he wings are noted to be incredibly durable.

Burning Crusader
Burning Crusader also known as Aegis of the Molten Dragon is Sasuke's sacred gear, it manifests as a fiery red and black shield with a fiery design and a bright crimson orb in the middle. Burning Crusader allows Sasuke to amplify his durability every ten seconds, making his body as hard as rock. He can amplify this defense every ten seconds at the price of his speed, which will decrease due to the extra weight. He also has a [transfer] ability where he can transfer this defense to someone else in the form of a pale red line that will come out of his shield and attach to them. His sacred gear also possesses a command called [Eruption] that releases molten hot lava from the shield, however this consumes a large portion of Sasuke's stamina. His sacred gear also possesses Kayda, the Dragon Crowned Prince of Lava inside of it.
Simon's Dragon Cell Infused Fallen Angel Wings
Dragon Cells: Simon Beelzebub implanted Dragon Cells inside of Sasuke's fallen angel wings to go along with his sacred gear. The dragon cells turned Sasuke's wings a crimson red color (while still resembling fallen angel wings), the wings become as sharp and strong as dragon claws and he possesses the ability to release feathers from his wings similar to knives or blades. However the wings take a while to heal feathers and as a result using this too much can cost him his ability of flight.
Artificial Black Star: Simon's experimental weapon he created from the remains of the holy Onikiri (Oni/demon Slayer) sword that belonged to Watanabe-no-Tsuna that was smashed to pieces. Simon using his demonic energy and mechanical pieces reforged the blade in the form of a large black shuriken. The shuriken possesses the ability to absorb large quantities of wind before releasing it in the form of powerful attacks. The Black Star can also split into four pieces, releasing demonic winds due to Simon's influence.

- Was originally going to give Sasuke, Wyvern Reflection but changed my mind and thought a shield would work better for him.
- His appearance is based off of Keigo Takami from the My Hero Academia franchise.
- His personality is slightly similar to Hiei from ExE Crow Battle School, someone who doesn't really want to be there but is forced along for the ride by his crazy teammates. He is also slightly similar to Sora.
