|“||We control your destiny, foolish mortal! With a whim we can end your life…or allow you to live.||”|
Atropos is the Greek Goddess of Fate and Destiny along with her sisters, Lachesis and Clotho, and is in charge of the inevitability of death. She was created by the Two Primordial Deities Nyx, Goddess of Night and Erebus, God of Darkness and so is the younger sister of Aether, Hemera, Thanatos, Hypnos, Achlys and older sister of Nemesis, the Oneiroi, Ozyis and many others.
She is one of the major supporting characters in Olympus Arc of the story High School DxD: Mightverse and its Spin off: Goddess of Night.
Appearance [edit | edit source]
Atropos is a beautiful pale-skinned young woman with dark purple long hair and brown eyes. As a Human outfit How she wears her hair varies from time to time. Atropos has a rather voluptuous figure, and she wears a long revealing dress, sporting a striped pattern.

Personality[edit | edit source]
Atropos was very dedicated to her job. She was well-organized and did not like to let details escape her hands. A perfectionist, she left her job well-done and did not leave any unfinished business. She was inflexible when it came to completing her agenda and got angry whenever changes were made.
However, she has also shown to have a more easygoing, but still somewhat twisted sense of humor, seen when she explained the workings of opening training to Issei and his companions in the rescue of a captured Nyx at Mount Olympus.
History[edit | edit source]
Atropos was the oldest of the Three Fates, and known as the "inflexible" or "inevitable". It was Atropos who chose the mechanism of death and ended the life of each mortal by cutting their thread with her "abhorred shears."
She worked along with her two sisters, Clotho, who spun the thread, and Lachesis, who measured the length. Her origin, along with the two other Fates, is uncertain, although some called them the daughters of the night. It is clear, however, that at a certain period they ceased to be only concerned with death and also became those powers who decided what would happen to individuals.
Although Zeus was the chief Greek god and their leader, he was still subject to the decisions of the Fates, and thus the executor of destiny, rather than its source. They do however hold some loyalty to Hades though it is likely because of their older brothers Thanatos and Hypnos who are both very loyal to him.
