Abraham Hawkthorn (アブラハム・ホークトルン, Aburahamu Houkutorun), better known simply as Ham (ハム, Hamu), is a deuteragonist of Highschool DxD: Seven Sins. He is a second-year student of Okoma Academy and Ram Phenex's Knight.
Appearance[]
Ham is a short, sixteen-year-old boy with bluish-black hair and rich, deep blue eyes. His arms and legs are thin, his shoulders slim and his waist narrow. Ham typically dresses in a way that suits his noble standing.
On his right eye, he has a magic pattern thanks to his Sacred Gear. Ham nearly always wears a black eye-patch made with a single cord over his right eye, which was made by Mint Borrow as a gift.
From Volume 6 onwards, Ham stops using his eye-patch after it gets destroyed and starts dressing in normal clothes.

Immense Strength: Ham's physical prowess is his greatest weapon. Ham has shown that he can break even the hardest defence simply using the pure power of his fists.
Immense Durability: After training his body for many years, Ham gained an immense durability, being able to endure attacks from an elite member of Grigori like Akai Asagiri.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Ham is a master hand-to-hand combatant, having practiced martial arts since he was a child.
- 3 Blows Technique (3打撃技術, San Dageki Gijutsu): Ham's specialty, he concentrates the most strength he can in 3 blows aimed at vital parts of his opponent's body.
- 300 Blows Technique (300打撃技術, Sanhyaku Dageki Gijutsu): While using his Balance Breaker, he is able to deal 300 punches all over his opponent's body.
Immense Speed: Due to his trait as a Knight, Ham possesses superhuman speed.
Sacred Gear: He possesses a Sacred Gear named Dimension Change. It allows him to alter the 3 dimensions percieved by the human eye.
- Balance Breaker: The Balance Breaker of Dimension Change is named Dimension Alternative: Chronos Change. It allows him to alter the fourth dimension: time.
Completed Sacred Spear: With the help of Mint, they developed the complete form of King's Spear, King's Armour.
Demonic Power: Ham has all the powers and abilities common to Devils, but his demonic power is considered low by many.
Flight: Being a Devil, Ham can fly using his wings.
Trivia[]
- His appearance is based on the character Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji.
- As mentioned in Volume 2, Rito believed that Ham didn't have a right eye, but Mint clarified this was untrue, saying Ham has both of his eyes.
- Since Ham comes from England his nationality is English.
